City of Seattle Climate Action Plan Evaluation Framework

The City of Seattle is updating its Climate Action Plan for the first time since 2013. In parallel with the plan development process, Seva Workshop is supporting the Office of Sustainability & Environment in developing an evaluation framework that will help describe the collective efforts and results of the City’s actions across 20 different departments. This work is first grounded in a practical literature review of indicators used to assess climate action and resilience as relates to community, infrastructure, public health, buildings, transportation, ecosystems, and several more topics. Seva will draft and continue to refine an evaluation framework through community and subject matter expert consultation as the Climate Action Plan evolves.
