Goldbelt Land Use Planning

Juneau, AK / ONGOING

Seva Workshop is supporting Goldbelt in its land use planning and strategy development efforts.

Goldbelt is an Alaska Native Corporation, representing more than 3,700 shareholders and descendants with family roots in Southeast Alaska’s Tlingit community. As part of this project, Goldbelt is creating plans for its property in three separate geographic locations in Southeast Alaska. Seva will support this effort through the development of an economic profile of the greater Juneau area and interviews with board members and relevant stakeholders. This information will be used to explore opportunities for economic development across the three study areas. This effort will focus on identifying options that provide positive returns on investment, support traditional Tlingit land uses and cultural values, and offer future growth potential.
