Pierce County Behavioral Health and Therapeutic Courts Tax Evaluation

Seva Workshop is conducting an evaluation of Pierce County’s Behavioral Health and Therapeutic Courts Tax, as required by Ordinance. This comprehensive and mixed-methods evaluation of the first six years of the Tax’s implementation (2020-2026) will assess the impact of funded services and programs. The study includes analysis of administrative program data (including number of clients, services provided, and any existing outcome data), community engagement, including focus groups and key informant interviews with staff, Behavioral Health Advisdory Board members, service providers, policy makers, and community members, population data such as the Healthy Youth Survey ands DSHS Client Data Reports, and a policy review of the County’s quality assurance and auditing practices.
