Southeast Seattle Schools Fundraising

The Southeast Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA) is a non-profit network of Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) across 17 Southeast Seattle elementary and middle schools. Through collective fundraising efforts and an equitable distribution model, SESSFA aims to close the fundraising gap and empower educational equity to help every student across Seattle Public Schools reach their full potential.

In early 2026, Seva Workshop partnered with SESSFA to produce a package of marketing materials to bolster their current fundraising campaign. With an audience of potential donors in mind, the deliverables demonstrated in concrete terms the value of the organization, its impact on educational equity and justice in Southeast Seattle schools, and the power of its philanthropic reach.

The project team synthesized financial, demographic, and community-level data from participating schools to produce data visualizations and graphics for the SESSFA team and member schools to communicate with parents, stakeholders, and large donors. The materials Seva produced were concise while still packed with valuable insight, easy to interpret, and visually-appealing.
