Seva staff led the development of the Puyallup Tribe’s first comprehensive plan, and are now developing a comprehensive Sustainability Plan to address pressing climate change challenges. Aligned with state and county initiatives, the Plan aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030 from 2015 levels through targeted actions in both community and Tribal government operations. The Plan will address key focus areas across community engagement and Tribal operations, ranging from energy and transportation to waste reduction and education. Designed as a living document with biennial reviews, it will serve as a strategic roadmap that brings together Tribal departments, community partners, and local stakeholders to ensure a sustainable future for the Puyallup Tribe of Indians.
